DAY 3: Osaka

Day 3 was spent in Osaka, only a 40 minute train ride on the Shinkensen. Still cloudy but we got
a break from the rain.

Osaka is filled with covered shopping bizarres like this.  Once you get in there, its a massive grid of
stores and restaurants. Incredible.


Toward the middle of the day, Tom and I branched off from the girls and headed for Hero Gangu.
This store is chock full of new and vintage Japanese toys, as well as lots of cool memorabilia,
including a special corner dedicated to the Mad Max trilogy. w00t!












The nice things about the trains in Japan, is they all have these signs that tell you
the next train coming and when it will arrive. And it does.
