ISO POLICE: Episode 1

So now I am out west.  I have camera gear, props, ideas and a setting to die for...but no one to work with.  Its VERY frustrating.  Why is life so off balance all the time?

San Fran Week End...

Here are photos from this weekend.  We drove to San Francisco on Saturday Morning.  We stopped at Kimono My House  first, and then went towards the beaches on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge.  Our first stop was Muir Beach.  The scenery is amazing.  Yes, those are starfish.

New Rims and Tires at Pyramid Lake...

Here are some photos from today.  I finally got the new rims and tires I have wanted for a long time.  We drove out to Pyramid Lake to photograph the VX, the Dolls and the CeCe.

We Made It...

...the drive sucked ass.  I ended up having to rent an additional trailer to fit all of our shit.  Weak.  But its over.  Thanks to Tom and Ryan for helping out.

So I am leaving in about 30 minutes for the airport. I fly to Phoenix, then to Chicago. ETA 3:00am. Then I have to load up and drive one of these to Reno:

Hike

Today I went hiking around the northern end of Lake Tahoe with my dad.  This is seriously about 30-45 minutes away from where I live.

Meet my new friends...

Since moving to Reno, I have made a couple new friends...

This one, was identified as a Western Black Widow.  I found her UNDER MY PILLOW about a week after I got here.

Welcome to MBREALLY?

MB stands for "Mister Bart" which is one of Linda's nicknames for me.  Over time she has shortened Mister Bart down to just "MB".  And REALLY just means "Really?"  So, "MB, Really?" is something that Linda says to me when I am being ridiculous, which seems to be pretty often.

So, I decided to call my blog MBREALLY.

Also, this blog has been ported over from LiveJournal (as of Sept 2012) where it used to live.  I moved it over to Blogger for a few different reasons, but mainly because the interface is much easier and better in general.

This blog started when my wife and I made the life changing decision to leave the rat race of Chicago for the Western United States, where the quality of life is quite different.  MBREALLY consists mainly of photos and ramblings about the things I do, the places we go, and the stuff I like.
