SB600 Speedlight Tests

Yesterday my SB600 Nikon Speedlight came in the mail. w00t!

I hope it helps me improve my herp photography some. We'll see.
I have some learning to do.

My first attempt at HDR photography

I know, I know, it's boring, but it was a perfect setting for me to shoot and see
if I could create a HDR image. Basically, my coworker and the view through
the window are both correctly exposed.  It looks pretty crappy and weird but
it basically "worked" and still looks more interesting than just a regular photo
of an utterly boring subject (my office and the nerd who sits next to me). I 
definitely want to experiement more with this and see what I can do...

Sunday morning we met up with my long lost highschool buddy, Ben,
who now conveniently lives in Petaluma. It was great to catch up
with him as we haven't talked or seen eachother in damn near
20 years!!! (thanks FaceBook)

Saturday.

Saturday it was gloomy in the morning but cleared up nicely.  We went out and enjoyed
the morning and early afternoon in J-town.

Last Friday night...

We rolled over the hill AGAIN to check out Abney Park at the DNA Lounge.
