Hiking and Monkeys

There's something about monkeys that bring out your inner 12 year old.  I think it is just that they are so human like, and they are basically running around naked doing all sorts of familiar human things, but in a completely monkey way.

For instance, these two kept boning down like every couple minutes.

And of course their privates are very much not private.

Exactly! I couldn't have said it better!

So basically you hike up this mountain with like 3000 other people.

Lots of gorgeous scenery.

And cool signs.

Pritz.

These awesome bbq mochi balls were covered in what tasted like Unagi sauce.

This is Japan.

It's no wonder Japanese people are seldom fat.

At the top you could make out the tip of Fuji-san, which is pretty cool.

Seeing this photos now, months later, makes me so hungry for real Japanese food and beverages.

Just look how delicious that beer looks!

This was a lot easier than walking down...but I do remember a MASSIVE line to get on these.

Well worth the wait.
