Cool graffiti, you are bound to find it in Japanese cities.

So when Tom and Kris arrived, we headed down to Harajuku for a day.  Harajuku is always changing.  A few mainstay stores remain, but there is always something new. Including a new theme restaurant: the Kawaii Monster Cafe.

One thing to know about theme restaurants: The food is awful.

But these places are worth it because of the experience.

That night, we hit "Fish Face Guy" for sushi. Tom and I both had one of these "Hoppy" drinks, which is basically a whiskey high-ball mixed with a beer.  These will get you tore up pretty good.

IIRC, Kris got pretty ripped on night one!

Good times!

I think we ate here three times on this trip.  Really good, inexpensive sushi! Can't go wrong!

And there is a reason Tom calls the place "Fish Face Guy".
