Day 8 - Camping Stores and Rough & Road

So on Monday, Tom and I had the day to ourselves while the girls hit some big shopping area. So we set out to find some Japanese sporting goods shops that carry camping stuff.  Camping stuff in Japan is pretty cool, lots of different things than what we get and a lot of nice high-end stuff that you normally do not see.
Cool map of the multi-dimentional train station.

Banana milk from a vending machine. I became a little addicted to banana milk while I was there. I wish we had something like this here.
Really cool door.
Japanese gas station.
More cool buildings.
Mr. and Mrs. Sato.
One of the few dilapidated buildings we saw.
Tom and I were ready for lunch. So we searched for a Freshness Burger. Just when we were about to give up, we found one.  Freshness Burger makes a great American style cheeseburger.
Typical corner loaded with vending machines. So nice to have drinks on hand.
We made it to Rough & Road. It was cool to see a bike shop in Japan.
On the train means looking at your cell phone.
That night we went out to a very nice dinner.
Tom and I each ordered one of these platters. Looking at it now makes me hungry.
Awesome sparkling sake.
Us.
