Day 15 - Odaiba

On Monday, we switched the schedule around so we could take advantage of rain free conditions and hit Tokyo Bay. The area we visited is called Odaiba, which is a man made island full of shopping malls (of course), huge buildings and other interesting sights.

This building is very interesting.

The first point of interest was Ricoland (Riders Community Land) motorcycle shop. Very huge and very cool.
Then we hopped back on the train a couple stops to Odaiba, where we checked out Venus Fort, Diver City, and several other huge mall buildings.
Ice cream cone machine in the train station.
View from the train platform.
Lots of school kids waiting for the train.
Awesome buildings here.
This is food court gyoza. Very tasty.
Weird poster in Venus Fort.
Really cool fountain inside Venus Fort.
I cannot remember this robots name.
Sato-chan.
Tetsuwan Atomu.
Ultraman.
What character is this?
Sorta extra creepy dead person hanging outside a little haunted house.
I really want one of these Takoyaki signs, I can't seem to find them for sale anywhere.
Takoyaki mascot outside the Takoyaki museum.
Junior Mints and skulls, what's not to like?
I wanted to steal this vintage Pac-Man mascot.  It was about 4 feet tall.
Weird game.
Really cool towers.
Massive infrastructure all around you.
As the sun set, it was time to find some food.
So we went back to this sushi place. Good stuff, but I ended up eating more squid knuckles by accident. Above however, you see sushi with roast beef on top, which was a new thing, and quite tasty.
The joint's display that drew us in.
OK, so outside the sushi joint was a bathroom, which had a silly peeing game above the urinal.
Why don't we have fun stuff like this?
See the target?  That's what you aim for.

Sad polar bears, depressed about their melting home.
More fuckin' One Piece. I never liked Dragon Ball, and I don't think I like One Piece.
