Day 6 - Toyota Auto Museum, Travel to Tokyo

So on Saturday morning, we got up early, checked out of Hotel Monterey and jumped on a Shinkensen bound for Nagoya. The Toyota Auto Museum was interesting, and for the first time I got to see an Isuzu Bellett and an Isuzu 117 Coupe with my own eyes.

Isuzu Bellett 1600GT on display in the special section of the Toyota Auto Museum.
The Flying Feather. For some reason this little wagon appealed to me quite a bit.
Nice Fairlady Z.
Gorgeous creamy 117 Coupe.
No car museum should be without one of these.
These new Toyotas are pretty sweet, apparently we will get them here in the form of a new Scion.
I was really hoping to see a wider selection of Land Cruisers.  This was the only one they had on display, and I was a little disappointed by that.
This truck was cool.
Awesome cut-away view of a new Lexus sports car.
Classic Mitsu.
As an added bonus, we got to see a special presentation of an old Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno, the same car used to deliver fresh tofu in the famous Manga/Anime/Movie Initial D.
After that, it was back to Linimo Station.
On our way, we stopped and got one of these things.
Basically, imagine okonomiyaki in a sandwich with added grease. This was hands down the most oily thing I ate in Japan, but it was damn good.
These things I bought expecting them to be good, but they were like fishy, cheesy rice balls and the flavor was just not tolerable.
These chips on the other hand, are awesome.
More chips.
On the train to Tokyo.
"Do not wipe hands or faces" - Probably a good idea.
Fish Face Sushi.
High-power energy drinks.
Getting drinks somewhere.
Tom & Kris.
This is what I had for lunch on Saturday, should have posted it up higher, oh well.
