Easter Camping: Part 2

Saturday afternoon we headed out to find another campsite.
On the way we came across this enormous abandoned ranch.
There were several buildings filled with all sorts of old shit.
1981.
Lots of anti-fungal Sodium Iodine for livestock. Weird.
So weird.
Old dryer.
The backdrop.
Cool metal piece.
Fold out bed.
A nice bedroom. This house was actually kinda cool on the inside.
...
I wanted this lid to hang on my wall. It was just a nice big hunk of cool looking steel. I need to remember to bring my portable cutoff wheel next time around.
I climbed a power pole for this shot...
...and this one, Linda yelled at me.
...
So much crap left behind to rot.
Cool shot by Linda.
Loads of old tractor parts, gaskets, oil filters, tires, etc.
Record player.
Tape player.
Several barns and out buildings also.
...
After a while we settled on this spot to camp. No matter what, we could not escape the ferocious wind and added cold it punished us with. Welcome to the high desert.
Out here it is as dry as Costa Rica is humid.
Luigi sitting in the middle of the trail.
So funny.
He just sat here, in the sun, for a while.
I don't know if he was happy, confused, desperate, tired, or a combination of all of the above.
In the RTT! G'nite!
