Waiting for a cab in front of our hotel. Cabs were interesting. Some of them looked like cabs.
Others were just cars with some guy driving. NONE of them had meters. So they basically
just charge the Gringos whatever they want I suppose. Still, everything was pretty "cheap"
as far as we could tell.
Another beautiful church.
This area we were in reminded me of Miami's South Beach. Pretty much the exact same vibe.
People walking around everywhere, cars cruising up and down, lots of music coming from
the night clubs that lined the beachfront streets, restaurants and lots of shops and street
vendors.
Except everything is kinda shitty, but shitty in a very charming way.
Another thing. Very nice.
Linda.
We were pretty hungry and we settled on this place.
Where we had the best ceviche ever!!
The night time eventually came.
We walked around a bit more and then caught a "yellow" cab back to the hotel. The
interesting thing is that at no time did I feel in danger or uncomfortable. Now I really
want to know more about Mexico. I really, REALLY, would love to drive from Reno
to Oaxaca and back...must.make.plans. Tom, you in?
You bet.
