Extremely photogenic...

While in Mexico, I somehow convinced Linda to take a Unimog tour on Monday. While
sitting around the resort and drinking is certainly good enough, I felt we should really
try to do a little more and see a little more while we were there.  In the end I think Linda
appreciated it as much as I hoped she would.  Mexico is somehow an exremely
photogenic place, at least from my point of view..

A cemetary I wish I could have gotten better pics of...

Is this Mexican looking or what?

Look carefully in the trees.

This is Juan Carlos, our tour guide.  He was really funny and taught us some
interesting things about Mexico.

Is it just me or is Mexico really the most gothic country in the world, in the simplest sense of the word?

Chopped top bug.

Our Mog. Bad ass.

Blue agave.

Sorry, I really like these things.

Us on the Unimog.

For part of the Unimog 4x4 trip, you drive into an authentic Mexican village and see how
the people live. You get to eat some really fresh fruit and enjoy a real home-made Mexican
taco and it was awesome.

Linda's Mexican "war paint".

The last stop is the beach, once again, a bit north of where the resort was.

Another Thing.

I want.

Happy skeletons everywhere.

Typical Mexican residence.

LOL.

On the way back, we enjoyed several Tequila shots with our tour guide and some beer, so
by the time we got back to the hotel we had a nice buzz going on that lasted until we went
to sleep that night. I can only blame the alcohol for the slightly scewed alignment of this
next shot, but somehow it works well...

Us.

The next day we went home. :(

  3. We went to a couple and I wanted basically 'everything'. We only bought a couple really small / not super fragile things. It would be dangerous if I had room for more!!

  5. You guys really have been all over the place the last few months :)

I'm gonna be in Reno in a couple weeks. I sent Linda a few messages on FB and DOA but haven't heard back. I need Lind'a phone number too. My phone had a tragic accident with a mud puddle awhile back and I lost some of my numbers.
