The Shoe Tree (and other desert oddities)

On the way home we stopped at a petroglyph site. It was not very impressive, although some of the
'modern' glyphs were interesting.

I'm trying to get my head around the difference between Fence and Sagebrush lizards.

Fence doing the dance.

I need to animate this.

Linda.

Austin, NV.

My wheels.

When I'm old I will probably end up living in something like this.

The Shoe Tree.

The ditch under the Shoe Tree.  I'd be interested in knowing when this started.

A dog in chew toy heaven.

Some kid chucking a pair.

Weird.

Meagan about the throw a nice looking pair of shoes.

Look closely.  Some red-necks had fun with those I bet.

The Trooper.

Around the Earthquake Fault Linda spotted something weird.  Upon a closer look I discovered dead pigs.

Does anyone have a spoon?

Flys takin' care of business.

I had to bust out the macro for these.  I feel sick.

I can't help but think of Spirited Away and the strange human resemblance to pigs.

Of course, the four dead pigs got us talking about what we would have done had these been people
instead.

The trail to the Earthquake Fault.  Not very exciting but worth it for the pigs.

After the dead swine, it was time to make the final push to Reno.
