Memorial Day Weekend Camping - Post 2

The next morning we ate a nice breakfast and broke camp. I like finding new spots to camp each night. So we headed for a spot me and Tom camped at a couple years back.
The scenery is gorgeous. I love Nevada.

As we went up the rocky trail, we found ourselves blocked by a fallen tree.  This was good news, because this meant there would most likely be NO ONE at the spot I was thinking of going to. So I pulled said dead tree out of the way and proceeded up the trail.

She's a keeper.
I got a lot of use out of the Trasharoo. I picked up so much trash from other people. Makes me sick.
The doggies were completely spent.
CeCe sleeps like a little baby deer.
In the afternoon we went for a hike up to the lake. There was still some snow pack left. Luigi took a bath.
The rolling...
Going up the trail.
It's a short trail with some steep spots.
CeCe makes short work of it.
Excellent campsite for hikers.
The lake was pretty low.
Linda chillin.
Luigi was so tired, but so happy.
Dog kids are best.
.
Old can. I should have photographed the ingredients side. Nothing like what 7UP is made from today.
More rolling. Even CeCe got down with some rolling.
See the crap on her neck? That's what she was rolling in. I think it was duck shit. Disgusting.
Yup.
Dis iz da good life.
There are trout in this lake, but the season doesn't open until next month.
I dunno which pic I like better. This one...
...or this one.
Once again, the sun began to decline.
Sage everywhere.
Looks like Africa. (maybe, never been there so...)
