España - Post 2

Continuing on, with some more pics from Barcelona!
Barcelona is an old place, full of beautiful gothic architecture.
Church door.
Some of the buildings that were under construction were covered in this weird yellow insulation, making for a weird looking sight.
Like so.
Break time!
Lion bars, I ate like four of these. Really good.
Famous bakery.
One of my favorite places in all of Barcelona, is the iconic open air food market knows as La Boqueria.
La Boqueria is a foodies dream. There's so much insanely good stuff here, I could have spent a week trying everything.
Jamón Iberico, one of the well known delicacies from Spain, is melt in your mouth good.
The amount of beautiful seafood for sale was astounding, but still dwarfed by the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo.
Sweets, macaroons, nuts, you name it.
The smells, colors, and most definitely, the tastes make this one of the best
Olives, patatas fritas, fresh fruit cup and macaroons...what's not to love?
While we walked around, we did take a stroll down Las Ramblas, which is the most touristy part of Barcelona.
I drank a lot of Estrella. Good stuff.
Interesting trees.
This one was full of what appeared to be citrus fruit.
We saw this dude with his cat on a leash several times.
Older than anything in America.
Self portrait.
Awesome church.
Inside even awesomer.
Do you think more people would go to church if our churches were this amazing?
Lots of interesting architecture to keep your eyes entertained.
At a bar we went to. They had an awesome logo.
Linda with giant tape covered head.
Booze.
We ate here.
Simple. Good.
