to a place that has never let me down. For the first 4 hours, we got completely
skunked, everything was dry as a bone and there were no herps to be found
anywhere. At the very last spot, the road of uber snakiness came through and
provided this little beauty.
A little tongue.
No tongue.
Tight.
Tighter.
Ahhh, there's the tongue.
That was the only snake we found, unless you count this:

And a couple attempts at more HDR. I'm still doing something wrong, can't quite figure it out though.

ReplyDeleteActually, I bet you might have some neat animals in the winter up there. Hognose snakes probably, and lots of garters...not sure about it though.
