It's that time of year again!

October/November. The best 2 months of the year are here. So, we pushed the Trooper over the hill to the apple orchards.

I like farm animals.

Blackberry Sour Cream Pie and fresh apple juice, just one of the many special treats that can
b had at Apple Hill.

Fishing pond.

Looks like CeCe isn't the only one who hates nail clipping time.

CeCe's friend, Buster.

Sampson, not CeCe's friend.

After Apple Hill, we drove a little ways back east to find a camping spot.  Most of the campsites were already
closed which was annoying, but then we found a nice spot about 15 miles off hwy 50 near the Rubicon
trailhead.  This is a 5 second exposure of the moon over the lake.

We hung out by the campfire for a few hours, and then it started to drizzle ever so slightly.  So, we decided
to get into the tent.  It was also cooling off quite a bit as well, naturally, as we were camping at about 6500'.
As soon as we got in our bags, the drizzle turned into a full on rain, and we could hear thunder in the distance.
We tried to sleep.
