The fork again

On Saturday we went back to the spot we went to a few weeks prior.
The gate was open and we drove a lot farther in and hiked for a bit.
I think I found a new favorite camping spot and it is under 2 hours
from home!!



Again, we looked for herps and again, only a single Ensatina came up. I don't know where
all the snakes are hiding and its driving me nuts!!


There are some unbelievable spots that are easily hiked to.








I could have just put a sleeping bag and pad right here and slept like a baby.

Here Beej and Linda started to get wet.  I was carrying 2 camera and CeCe through
this area so I wasn't able to join them.  Plus, I really don't like hiking with wet boots.

Later Saturday afternoon I decided to wash the VX and spend some quality time with my new
Isuzu Trooper.
