Ft. Churchill through a shitty fisheye adapter...

On Monday, Linda and I decided to take a leisurely ride through Virginia
City, and over to Ft. Churchill State Historic Park. It was a really nice ride
and we enjoyed seeing the ruins of Ft. Churchill and the surrounding area
quite a bit. Here are a few photos from the spot. Someday, I will own a
real ultra wide angle lens...someday....

Oh how I longed for this sign to come true...

  1. I saw a rattlesnake this weekend when I was camping. It was in the bushes. I stayed far away!

  3. when my parents drove down to roseburg a couple of weeks ago they saw some stupid guy on the side of the road trying to kill a rattlesnake with his flip flops to try and get his rattler. They said he almost got bit a couple of times before he gave up, he was an idiot but my parents said it was funny to watch.

  4. Yeah, people do that all the time and it makes me sick. They deserve to get bit and suffer badly...

  5. I passed two today coming up Six mile canyon road towards VC on my way home. Sorry to say they were squished but none the less there were TWO. So your chances might be good there.
