~ COLD ~

So we (me and the VX boys) decided it was time to get out and camp last week.  As it turned out, it snowed most of the day Friday and Saturday it was quite cold.  Either way, we were determined to get out and spend some time out doors.  I wanted to camp near the Lagomarsino Petroglyphs so I could get some night shots.  All in all, everything went well, despite the overnight low of 28°F. Here we are riding out to the spot, my roof rack loaded with fire wood.

That night, I setup the tripod at the petroglyph site and began taking a series of photos while some owls hooted in the woods behind me.  Beau and Clint went back to the camp to get the fire started while I spent a couple hours working on photos.  The original idea I had for these photos is quite different than what I actually came home with, but all in all I am still pleased with the photos for the most part.  I would like to get out there again and do some more with a little more variety.

Here is Beau's  new puppy, Wrath.  He is a really cute little chap and I think he enjoyed camping just as much.

  3. Thanks! None are photoshopped except for a little cropping. These were all taken with open shutter. The 8th one was open shutter with a flash light. :)
