However, this camel spider was under an old piece of couch. These spiders are in a
league of nasty of their own. This one was just under an inch, but I guess they get bigger.
I touched the little bastard with a stick to see if he would move. The answer was yes.

Although I couldn't really see this with my eye, the macro certainly exposed the nasty biting jaws of this
extreme hunter.

These cicadaes were everywhere out there, buzzing in the sun. The macro loves insects.


And someone loves Peppermint Schnaps. There were two empty bottles of this in one spot. 90 proof. :)




That night I went out back to the canal and snapped a few shots of the neighborhood Pacific Tree Frogs.
