Saturday morning we got up, packed up, and headed back west to GBNP for another night
of camping. We got to the park in the afternoon, setup camp, and I went off to find more things
to focus on.
I looked under a few rocks in the campsite, and only found these monster ants and pupae.
Right in our campsite, there were loads of deer hanging out.
Then Linda and I wandered over to Baker Creek, where we found this sweet little Wandering Garter Snake.
The snake was really nice and docile. After Linda took a few pics of me with the snake, I took him back over
to the creek where he just hammed it up for me.
I was really happy to find this snake alive, last year I saw only 2, and they were both dead on the road.
That night we settled in for one more relaxing evening in front of the camp fire. I used the 'bulb' setting to
take a few long exposures of our campsite and the moon above.
And the stars moving according to the earth.
