So we bought a canoe this weekend. Very nice. You like?
We took it up to Frenchman's Reservoir, just 40 minutes NW of Reno.
At first, Ceese was a little nervous, but once she got settled she was all good.
Although the lake was not huge, it did attract a lot of life forms aside from the human kind. Below are a few
pelicans caught in mid flight...
We also rowed up to a beach full of turkey vultures...

We paddled around the main part of the lake and then headed inbetween some rocky cliffs and down a river.
After canoeing we stopped in Chilcoot at their local "Ranch Frosty". Good stuff.

This looks like a blast, in a realxing sort of way. I cant wait to get one now even if Cari isnt into it.
