San Fran For Clock DVA

There were a lot of bands playing in San Francisco this fall, but we really only could afford the time and money for one show. Between The Legenday Pink Dots (seen them multiple times already), Swans (I was not overly impressed with their last record) and Clock DVA (never seen 'em and we've been fans for giong on 30 years), Clock DVA was chosen. And it was awesome.

First stop, lunch with the pups.

Friday night sushi at Nara. This is what sushi is supposed to look like. This is sushi worth paying for. This is sushi worth eating. I miss sushi. So bad.

Saturday night we tried this new Izakaya.

The food was outstanding.

This thing, so weird, so good.

If anything, San Francisco is great for food, music and actual culture that is worth engaging in. Too bad it is so damned expensive to visit nowadays.
