Long Beach & The Queen Mary

Last weekend we took a trip through the barren wasteland also known as I5 between Sacramento and Los Angeles to enter the Impulse into the 9th Annual Japanese Classic Car Show.  The event is heald in Long Beach, and the official hotel (if you can call it that) for the show is the Queen Mary.

The single port hole window in our room, that was more like the servants quarters than a $169/night hotel room. :/

Linda snapping pics of the Celicas at the show.
Eyelids.
"The fuckin' Catalina Wine Mixer."
WTF is this?
Night shot from the upper deck of the Queen Mary.
Linda inbeteen starboard and port.
The boat was actually really pretty, save for our room.
Life boats.
The lights on the top of the ship gave everything this amber hue.

Another shot off the front of the boat.

The port at night is amazing looking....well, its amazing looking all the time I think.

Giant Tanuki $598.98 and they had a bigger one for $1200!

Yeah, I got a little sun.
And we finally got to eat here.
On Sunday we hit the champagne brunch on board the Queen Mary.  This was plate #1.
Plate #2.
Plate #3.
Plate #4.  Some peanut M&Ms just for good measure. And who says you can't have bacon for dessert?
Endless OJ, champagne and coffee.  This was our table number, and boy did I feel like The Refrigerator that day.
Since I don't know how to simile, we didn't get photos.
