hoping to just get some fresh produce. However, there was an adoption booth
and we met Luigi. For me, it was love at first sight. Not only is he absolutely adorable
(see below), he just seemed to have exactly the type of personality and temperment
that we need in a dog that can be introduced to CeCe. If you have ever met CeCe,
than you know what I am talking about.
Supposedly he is about a year and a half old, has been in foster care since January and has
been adopted out and returned twice before us, which is very sad. We can't find anything wrong
with this little guy at all. He is very affectionate and sweet and totally house broken. Amazing.
He even plays with balls, unlike someone we know.
CeCe is doing way better than we thought she would, but she is still very angry.
We are really hoping she comes around, but it's going to take some time. She
has been our only dog for almost 10 years and she is naturally defensive,
jealous and terrirorial. In the long run, hopefully this will be good for her.
CeCe can be a nasty little brat, but we love her dearly.
Luigi not only came with a silly name, but he also came with a silly head of hair. You can
give him mohawks and liberty spikes all day long.
Tuna is awesome, totally doesn't care...well, maybe she is a little bit like, "WTF?" Here's a weird picture of Tuna being Tuna.
Congrats on Luigi - what a lucky boy! I hope CeCe comes around - it took our Weimeraner about ten months to accept that the Jack Russell was staying....it was hard, but so worth it!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yeah, I expect CeCe will take many moons to come around. That said, she did go on a group walk yesterday, which is pretty huge considering how she is usually terrified of other dogs...
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with you.
Awww he's so cute! I can't wait to meet him sometime.
ReplyDeleteHopefully CeCe will like him soon.
What a cute new add to the family. Does he bite like CeCe? He looks Adorable.
