Here are a few photos from the holiday and weekend. Photos by me and kyotopunk and one or two by my mom who came in from Florida for the festivities.

Since Mom is also interested in history and I think even more curious about everything than I am, we took her down to Virginia City and the Flats. Every time I drive to Gold Hill I get worried that the skeletal structure will be gone.
On Sunday we went to Carson City for some more history. We went to the Nevada State Museum, which I thought would probably suck, but they actually had a really nice collection of items there. I was particularly fond of their firearms collection. Some of the old pistols are just so neat looking.
And just look at this 10 gauge hog leg. I want one.
Now back to work.
