FAIL.
This photo clearly shows how deep my right front end was. Basically, I crossed this little canal in an
attempt to take a shortcut to a road at the end of our street. All that was fine, except for the fact that
there was a massive mud pit on the other side of the creek. Basically quicksand. As soon as I crossed
the water I just sank. And stuck.
As soon as I knew I was not going anywhere on my own, I called Clint and he came to the rescue in his
VX. Thanks, bro. I owe you a few beers.
And thanks, Tom, for making me buy a tow strap. I used it.
No slack.
Victory!
There was so much mud caked into the rims and wheel wells my truck was severely off balance until I got
it to the car wash and sprayed the majority of the mud out. I think I am going to have to remove my wheels
to really get it clean out, which sucks. I hate mud.
On a good note, we got some cool pics. The 18-200 is phenominal.
There was a massive herd of wild horses really close by. I got a few nice pics of this baby.
I know you would do the same for me. I hope to be able to get out and explore more once mine is completely fixed.
